After leaving the museum, Angela grabbed my and James' umbrellas. This man came running and screaming after Angela, procceeded to grab the umbrella out of her hand and place it back in the stand. After James talked to him, we found out he was 100%, not a doubt in his mind sure that the umbrellas in question belonged to his wife and friend visiting from Tokyo. They were in the museum and he was patiently waiting for them outside because he didn't want to pay to see it again (as he lived in Nara).

We had to sit and wait for them to finish walking through the exhibit so he could show us that the umbrellas belonged to them--as we're thinking, sure, we'll wait here and prove to you the umbrellas are ours. Forty-five minutes later they come and are holding umbrellas that don't even look remotely close to ours. We decided that he was color blind and suffering from dementia. Anyway, he apologized and we moved on laughing about the incredibly strange situation...
